Job Description
Take your critical-care skills on the road with a 13-week ICU Registered Nurse contract in Plainview, Texas. You will work bedside with critically ill adult patients on 12-hour day shifts in a rural acute-care setting. This assignment is suited for an experienced ICU RN who is comfortable managing complex patients, working independently, and adapting to the needs of a smaller care team.
When the ICU census is low, you may assist with limited Med-Surg needs or other patient care activities. You will not be assigned the Charge Nurse role or a full Med-Surg assignment except in extraordinary circumstances. Prior ICU experience and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required. No on-call shifts are required, and weekends include six scheduled shifts during the contract.
