SEC Reporting Senior Analyst

You will find we offer more than the basics to create an inclusive and dynamic work environment at our various locations.Purpose:This role reports to the SEC Reporting AVP and works independently with peers and leaders across the organization to prepare and analyze the company’s SEC financial statements, management reports, and related financial statement disclosures to ensure their accuracy and integrity.Accountabilities:Lead preparation and review of SEC filings (10‑Q, 10‑K) and US GAAP financial statementsPerform complex technical accounting analyses and support financial statement preparationManage consolidations, including VIEs, intercompany eliminations, and cash flow statementsResearch and apply US GAAP and SEC disclosure guidance; implement new accounting standardsAnalyze and resolve financial variances using detailed accounting assessmentsPartner cross‑functionally and with parent company teams to meet reporting deadlinesPrepare financial statement analytics and ensure disclosure checklist complianceSupport external audits and regulatory reviews through workpaper preparation and analysisQualifications and Experience:5+ years of relevant experience in technical accounting, SEC reporting, or public accountingStrong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements; ability to analyze complex transactions and accounting treatmentExperience in public accounting or SEC reporting within the insurance industry preferredStrong analytical and research skills with ability to clearly communicate conclusionsProficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with Workiva (Wdesk) preferredFamiliarity with Oracle, Essbase, and Hyperion a plusBachelor’s Degree in Accounting required; CPA and/or FLMI designation preferred or in progress$100,885.60 - $151,328.40 USD AnnualAnnual Salary for this role is market competitive. Actual salary for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
