Medical Laboratory Technician (Contract)
Location: Oregon 97216
Pay: $1,816 – $2,041/week
Schedule
10-hour Variable Shifts
Nights: 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM (7 on / 7 off rotation)
Evenings: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (varied days)
Rotating schedule: 4×10s one week, 3×10s the next
Work week runs Sunday–Saturday
Position Summary & Responsibilities
Perform routine and complex laboratory testing to support patient diagnosis and treatment
Analyze specimens, operate lab equipment, and ensure accuracy of results
Maintain quality control, follow safety protocols, and adhere to regulatory standards
Collaborate with healthcare teams to report and interpret findings
Document results accurately and maintain proper lab records
Requirements
Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field – Required
MLT certification (ASCP or equivalent) – Required/Preferred
Prior clinical laboratory experience – Preferred
State licensure (if required) – Required
