Vesa Health & Technology is seeking an ultrasound technologist to provide care to our Nation's Military Members at Madigan Army Health Center in Tacoma, WA! Position offers: paid time off full benefits package 11 paid federal holidays 401k with 2% match life insurance Rewarding work environment Summary of Duties: Perform routine diagnostic ultrasound procedures/services including, but not limited to abdomen, small parts, obstetrics, gynecology, carotid, upper and lower extremity venous ultrasound services, pediatric stenography. Maintain and clean ultrasound equipment on a regular basis in accordance with Radiology Department standards. Process digital images, prepare tech worksheets with technical impression and submit for interpretation by radiologists. Recognize artifacts and equipment errors and notify designated Government personnel of outlying values.
