That's why our teams are comprised of compassionate, dedicated professionals from a variety of backgrounds who collaborate to provide the very best evidence-based care for our clients at all levels of care.Position Overview:The Behavioral Health Specialist supports the PHP milieu by facilitating therapeutic skills groups, self-monitoring and activity groups, providing therapeutic meal support at mealtimes and snacks, assisting clients in acquiring skills to manage their eating disorder, maintaining a recovery-oriented environment, and providing general support and assistance.Schedule:Full Time, 1.0 FTE - 40hrs/wk, working (4) 10hr shifts per week.Shifts can be scheduled for either 9:00 am-7:00 pm or 7:00am to 5:00pm depending on site need.Every other Saturday or SundayLocation:41 Perimeter Center East, Dunwoody, GA 30346Compensation Disclosure:Starting hourly between $21-25. Final compensation offered will be within pay range based on qualifications/experience met for the position.How Behavioral Health Specialists empower recovery:Facilitates therapy groups including skills groups, self-monitoring groups, and experiential activity groups which may include art activities, music, journaling, mindfulness, relaxation, and movement.Participates in therapeutic supported meals and snacks.Contributes to the creation and maintenance of a recovery-oriented therapeutic environment.Provide resident support and in-the-moment skills coaching.Participates in treatment team, mini team, therapy team, supervision, and/or case consultation meetings and seeks supervision when needed.Completes clinical documentation in compliance with The Emily Program and Veritas policies and regulatory standard.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in mental health-related field required.
