Clinical Sales Specialist, Sports - Houston, TX - Johnson & Johnson MedTech - Orthopaedics

Clinical Sales Specialist position supporting orthopaedic surgical sales in Houston, Texas. Role involves providing clinical and technical expertise in operating rooms, managing equipment logistics, and supporting surgeon needs for DePuy Synthes and Mitek Sports Medicine products.
Responsibilities
- Provide independent clinical and technical support to surgeons during orthopaedic surgical cases in operating rooms
- Manage billing, purchase orders, equipment tracking, and logistical deployment across assigned territory
- Troubleshoot physician needs and address customer requests while ensuring proper equipment availability
- Share market insights and procedural data with sales, clinical, and marketing teams to support growth
- Maintain promotional materials and ensure quality standards for DePuy Synthes services and offerings
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, or Associate degree with medical certification plus 2+ years experience
- Valid US driver's license and willingness to relocate to Houston territory
- Ability to work in operating room and lab environments with potential weekend travel
- Strong interpersonal communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of human anatomy and physiology
- Data analysis experience and technical knowledge of surgical instruments preferred
