Clinical Specialist, Joint Replacement - South Houston, TX

Field-based clinical specialist role supporting orthopedic surgeons in Houston with both robotic and manual joint replacement procedures. Responsibilities include pre-operative planning, OR support, equipment troubleshooting, and on-call coverage for surgical cases.
Responsibilities
- Develop competency in robotic (Mako SmartRobotics) and manual orthopedic procedures through hands-on training
- Assist surgeons with pre-operative CT planning, implant sizing, case preparation, and intra-operative support
- Troubleshoot technical issues efficiently during surgical procedures in the operating room
- Manage account coordination including inventory, instrumentation checks, and OR readiness protocols
- Participate in product demonstrations, cadaver labs, education programs, and customer training events
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, or Associate degree with 4 years related experience, or high school diploma with 6 years related experience
- Valid driver's license and English fluency
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs consistently
- Clinical experience preferred (nursing, surgical technology, physical therapy, or related field)
- Capacity to manage stressful operating room situations professionally
- Willingness to travel 50% and participate in evening, weekend, and holiday on-call coverage
Compensation: $62,900 - $87,500 USD annual
