Accounting Office Manager

Bookkeeper & Office Manager for a Family Owned General Contractor, North Dallas, TX My client is a family owned General Contractor based in Dallas, with around 25 employees and $40m annual revenue. This role reports directly to the President and combines hands on accounting with running the office. It is a broad role and a trusted one. Good for a Bookkeeper who wants to own the finance function end to end, or someone who has had enough of corporate layers and wants a secure, long term seat in a well run business. What you will be doing Track project costs against budget, analyze backlog and produce WIP reports reviewed monthly with the President. Manage month end and year end close. Produce P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and WIP statements. Forecast cash needs and move funds between accounts to balance liquidity against interest earned. Ensure GAAP, employee benefit and lien waiver compliance. Coordinate annual audits for insurance, bonds, tax and benefits. Run AP and AR, process monthly pay applications and manage subcontractor invoices. Build policies to prevent fraud, flag risks to the President and reconcile credit cards. Handle employee benefits, onboarding, offboarding, vacation tracking, expense reports, the employee handbook and IT coordination. What you will need 5+ years progressive accounting experience. Working knowledge of Sage is advantageous Bachelor's degree, Accounting or Finance preferred. What you will get: Salary of $95k - $120k depending on experiance #J-18808-Ljbffr
