A full-time Pharmacist position is available at a retail pharmacy location in Newport, PA. The role focuses on maintaining pharmacy operations in alignment with state and federal regulations while driving business growth and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the store operations team to engage associates and communicate department and company strategies.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in prescription processing through Drug Utilization Review and final quality assurance.
• Manage pharmacy operations to build a profitable business by promoting clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
• Monitor inventory and place pharmaceutical stock orders to meet customer demand and maximize profits.
• Align performance objectives with key department metrics focused on efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide healthcare counseling and assist customers with medical-related inquiries.
• Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain pharmacy security and cleanliness.
• Address and resolve customer concerns to build trust and loyalty.
• Liaise with physicians and utilize reference materials to resolve prescription issues.
• Prioritize pharmacy tasks, including cycle counts, inventory management, and will-call orders.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
• Experience in retail pharmacy setting preferred.

Schedule and Hours:

• Full-time
• Variable day and afternoon shifts
• Bi-weekly hours: 74
