Job Description Unit Highlights: Surgical PCU is a new and growing unit, 20 beds unit with strong focus on Post Cath procedural patients. We have a mix of patients from strokes to post procedure. COPD and CHF exacerbations. The level of acuity ranges from low to moderate. Schedule: Full Time, 3/12 hr shifts 6:45 a.m. – 7:15 p.m., 3 days/12 hours, with a rotation of weekend and holidays. Location: 2450 N Orange Blossom Trail, Kissimmee, FL 34744. Responsibilities Assesses and interprets diagnostic data relative to patient age and condition, including lab results, non-invasive monitoring data, and interdisciplinary team notes. Makes appropriate decisions and implements interventions based on nursing diagnoses according to patients' actual or potential health conditions or needs. Sets measurable and achievable short- and long-term goals for patients, developing and implementing individualized plans of care. Prioritizes and completes follow-up assessments, evaluating and modifying plans of care as needed. Completes timely assessments including physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors, including signs of abuse or neglect.
