What’s a typical day as Fork Lift Operator? You’ll be:

• Operating a forklift or other powered equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count product for most of your shift.
• Loading, unloading, staging, and preparing products and materials for shipment.
• Checking inbound and outbound products for accuracy, damage, and compliance with customer requirements.
• Keeping thorough inventory records and reports to ensure accuracy.
• Complying with OSHA and MSDS safety standards and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.
• Performing daily equipment inspections and minor maintenance (e.g., changing batteries or LP tanks).
• Assisting with physical inventories and other duties as assigned.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Have steel toe or composite toe shoes/boots (REQUIRED)
• Comfortable operating the cherry picker, sitdown and standup forklifts
• Bring at least six months of warehouse and forklift operation experience (preferred).
• Are comfortable operating powered material handling equipment for the majority of your shift.
• Possess good written and verbal communication skills and can follow directions.
• Can occasionally push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs, and are comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
