GENERAL PURPOSE:

The onboarding coordinator willplay a critical role in welcoming and integrating new employees into ourorganization. The Onboarding Coordinator will work closely with variousdepartments to ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding process for new hires.This position requires excellent communication, organizational skills, andattention to detail.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

NewEmployee Orientation: Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding orientation program fornew employees, including introductions to company policies, culture, and mission. Paperworkand Documentation: Manage all necessary paperwork, documentation, and compliancerequirements for new hires, including I-9 forms, W-4s, and any other necessarydocuments. PreparingWorkspaces: Ensure that new employees have all the necessary equipment,supplies, and workspace arrangements ready on their first day. Trainingand Development: Collaborate with department heads to schedule and coordinatetraining sessions for new employees as needed. Mentorshipand Support: Act as a point of contact for new employees to address questionsand concerns during their onboarding period, offering guidance and support asrequired. IT Setup: Coordinate with the IT department to set up user accounts, emailaddresses, and access to company systems for new hires. Benefitsand Policies: Assist new employees in understanding company benefits, policies, and procedures. Feedbackand Improvement: Collect feedback from new hires to continually improve theonboarding process and make necessary adjustments. Compliance: Ensure that all onboarding activities are compliant with local,state, and federal laws and regulations. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of allonboarding activities, documentation, and training completion.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in HR, business, or arelated field. Prior experience in HR, onboarding, or a similar coordination roleis preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Familiarity with HR software and tools is a plus. Knowledge of HR policies and employment regulations. Detail-oriented and able to maintain confidentiality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
