Accounts Reconciliation Operations Manager

About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking an Operations Manager in Global Operations to manage and oversee a Recon Production team within Shared Services Operations Recon Utility team. This role will work with other recon teams in the U.S. and India, supporting multiple lines of business across the enterprise to ensure accurate and complete reconciliations and the timely and accurate resolution of exception items.In this role, you will:Manage and develop a recon production team within Shared Services OperationsDevelop strategies to improve staffing processes, ensure specialized functions meet regulatory guidelines in support of risk management and complianceEngage stakeholders and internal partners associated within the Operations areaWork independently on moderately complex issues and projectsIdentify opportunities for process improvement and risk control development and escalates issues to more experienced managementProvide training, performance, evaluation and coaching of less experienced teamMake decisions and resolve issues regarding resources, objectives and operations of functional area and team to meet business objectivesInterpret and develop policies and procedures for operation functions with low to moderate complexity within scope of responsibilityProvide responsibility for budget and financial performanceCollaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managersLead team to achieve objectivesManage allocation of people and financial resources for OperationsMentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talentRequired Qualifications:5+ years of Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education2+ years of leadership experienceDesired Qualifications:5+ years previous experience with accounting general ledger reconciliations and researching exceptionsProcess improvement and risk control experienceExperience interpreting and developing policies and proceduresExperience with reconciliation platforms such as Common Recon, Intellimatch, and EZ Ops.Knowledge and experience with system of record applications such as Hogan, SHAW, MSP, AFS, and LIQPrior experience within Consumer or Wholesale OperationsWork Locations:Chandler, ArizonaTempe, ArizonaPosting End Date: 10 Aug 2026*Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants.We Value Equal OpportunityWells Fargo is an equal opportunity employer.
