District Shift Leader

Participate in a targeted General Manager development plan Perform management duties at a home location Support other bakeries in the market as needed Travel among area bakeries to gain independence and learn from additional leaders Lead to the General Manager standard in the absence of the General Manager Lead by example and act as a brand ambassador Provide ongoing coaching and training for teams Work across different roles each shift to ensure high-quality food and beverages Maintain a safe and clean store environment Learn and perform inventory tracking, vendor orders, and cash management Develop skills in P&L analysis, achieving food cost and labor targets, scheduling, and recruiting quality team members Requirements Must be at least 18 years old to apply Minimum 30 hours/week required High school diploma or equivalent A minimum of 2 years of leadership experience preferred Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates, including early hours and weekends, starting as early as 3am Must be able to pass a background check Must possess a current, valid driver’s license Must complete Bagel Brands ServSafe Certification program by the end of the GM development plan if not already certified Expected to fill in for General Managers at other locations within the market Expected to accept a permanent General Manager promotion within the market when available; specific location is not guaranteed Core Competencies Demonstrates strong leadership and management skills, with a focus on team development, operational excellence, and financial analysis.
