Job Description

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients, including thorough physical examinations and assessments of medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging results and laboratory data
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative assistance by preparing the operating room, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and effectively managing surgical instruments
• Offer outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, inclusive of administering medications, overseeing wound care, planning discharges, and delivering patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience with clinical rotations focusing on surgical practices is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unencumbered PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are a must
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
