Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner / NP / Part Time We are hiring for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner / NP to provide psychiatric and medical assessment, treatment, and medication management for adults with serious mental illness or substance use diagnosis in a community‑based setting. The role is part of RHA Health Services’ Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT) and involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to integrate psychiatric services into overall client treatment plans. Key Responsibilities Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and perform follow‑up visits for medication evaluation and management. Manage psychotropic medications for adult clients with serious mental illness/substance use disorders. Participate in regulated supervision and consult with team staff. Provide education and training to ACT Team staff on psychiatric assessment and treatment protocols. Develop, implement, and supervise medication, psychiatric, and medical treatment policies and procedures. Collaborate with other team members to ensure integrated psychiatric services within the client’s overall treatment plan. Qualifications & Experience Must be a licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Certified at the national level by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Nurse Practitioner. Familiarity with standards of practice and regulations for this position. Minimum 3 years of experience working in behavioral health care (preferred). Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle insurance coverage (condition of employment); vehicle may be required for client transportation. Completion of pre‑employment screening: criminal background check, OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities, drug testing, education verification, and other credentialing.
