Customer Service Representative

Area of Interest Customer Service Job Description Job Title: Customer Service Representative Department : Customer Service Reports to: Customer Service Manager Position Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt SUMMARY : The Customer Service Department is a large part of our company and works with all departments to ensure an excellent customer experience. As a Customer Service Representative you will spend most of the day on email and/or phone with external/internal customers, resolving issues, collecting, entering and processing orders for installation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inputting customer details on orders Transcribing selection sheets for install/transcribing for repairs Process work order for install Proofreading data Answer email in timely manner Answer phone calls/return missed phone calls and voicemails immediately Update records for reselections and/or rescheduled installs Dealing with customer and homeowner queries Working to meet deadline each day/sense of urgency Helping all teammates Operate office equipment including computer and copier Adhere to confidentiality regulations

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Typing skills / 40 wpm preferred Accuracy and attention to detail Good communication skills both written and verbal Computer skills and knowledge of flooring/new home construction a plus Basic literacy and numeracy skills

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

3 -- 5 years of customer service experience preferred High School Diploma/GED/College

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Ability to lift 1-10lbs occasionally Required to remain stationary for prolonged periods of time, repetitively use hands to finger, handle, grip, feel, reach with hands and arms, occasionally stand, walk Able to hear, understand and distinguish speech and/or other sounds
