Laser Operator

Job Title

Use 3D laser equipment and pre-established programs to produce laser cut components as indicated by drawings or other documentation.

Perform cutting, deburring, cleaning and other processes to specified standards.

Inspect parts using measuring devices to ensure that critical dimensions are met.

Follow established work procedures and standard practices.

Monitor quality of work to ensure that it meets established criteria or other defined parameters.

Achieve established targets for daily output.

Keep work areas clean and follow guidelines of organization and equipment preventive care.

Performs additional duties and assignments, as requested

Ability to write, read and interpret documentation.

Required to frequently use a computer.

Will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes and other materials.

Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Must routinely use lift trucks and other material handling devices.

Required to visually identify defects in incoming materials as well as use inspection tools and equipment.
