Job Details Location: Braintree, MA 02184 Job Type: 3+ month contract assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00–4:30 or 8:30–5:00 Pay Range: $20–23 per hour on W2 (rate based on education, experience, and credentials) Job Summary The Patient Care Coordinator provides administrative and customer service support within a clinical department. This role is responsible for scheduling appointments, assisting patients throughout their visit, coordinating referrals and authorizations, maintaining accurate electronic medical records (EMR), and ensuring a positive patient experience while supporting clinical operations. Specific Duties Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments. Answer calls and assist with patient inquiries. Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and medical documentation. Greet patients and update demographics in the EMR. Schedule follow‑up visits and assist with check‑out. Complete patient forms and process prescription renewals. Maintain records, prepare correspondence, and support reporting. Deliver excellent customer service while ensuring HIPAA compliance. Required Qualifications 1+ year of healthcare, clinical, or customer service experience. Experience with EMR/EHR systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer applications. Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality.
