Security Engineer

We are seeking a Security Engineer with experience in endpoint protection, federal cybersecurity compliance, and security operations. The ideal candidate will support endpoint security initiatives, incident response activities, and security monitoring within a Federal IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) solutions
• Implement endpoint security configurations and protection updates
• Support SIEM/security log integrations and incident response efforts
• Troubleshoot endpoint security issues with cross-functional IT teams
• Work ServiceNow/ITSM security tickets through resolution
• Collaborate with Security Operations and Federal leadership teams
• Stay current on cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices

Required Qualifications

• 5–6+ years of Cybersecurity or related IT experience
• Experience with Endpoint Security/EDR tools
• Knowledge of FISMA, NIST 800 series, and Federal security standards
• Strong understanding of networking, firewalls, IDS/IPS, DLP, and cloud environments
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Relevant certifications preferred: Security+, Network+, SSCP, GISF, or similar

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SIEM tools and security operations environments
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and enterprise security architecture
• Experience working in Federal or regulated environments
