Job Description

Join our team as a Production Associate, where you will operate machinery in the metal recycling process. This role involves handling scrap metal, ensuring efficient operation of equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery used in the metal recycling process.
• Perform repetitive lifting of metal materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Transport scrap metal to designated recycling machines.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.

Essential Skills

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Experience with machine operation in a production or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to adhere to safety standards and procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with general production and general labor.
• Proficiency in machine operation.

Work Environment

This role involves working outdoors in all weather conditions. The position operates on a shift schedule: Monday - Friday, with options for the 2nd shift from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. or the 3rd shift from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.

This is a Contract position based out of Valdosta, GA.

The pay range for this position is $18.25 - $21.25/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Valdosta,GA.
