Job Title

Progressive Care RN – Nights

Location

Hilo, HI | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (18:45–07:15) | Expected 36 hours/week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide primary nursing care on a 15-bed Progressive Care Unit, including Step Down ICU and telemetry beds
• Perform telemetry monitoring and telemetry strip reading
• Conduct fingerstick blood sugar testing and other bedside procedures
• Utilize unit equipment including Meditech charting, Pyxis medication dispensing, BIPAP, and continuous cardiac monitoring
• Float to other acute care units as needed, including Medical, Surgical/Peds, ICU, and ER

Required Qualifications

• Active State of Hawaii RN license required by start of assignment
• Minimum 1 year of hospital acute care experience within the last year
• Ability to work night shift hours (18:45–07:15)
• Willingness to float to all acute inpatient units as assigned

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Progressive Care and telemetry experience strongly preferred
• ACLS certification preferred
• Current PALS certification preferred
• NIHSS certification preferred
