The company is seeking an experienced CNC Shop Supervisor who can take ownership of programming, setups, and daily shop operations. This person will play a key role in keeping production running efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This is a hands-on leadership role — ideal for someone who can both lead a team and work directly on the machines. The Work You’ll Be Doing In this role, you will: Program, set up, and operate CNC machines including VMCs, CNC lathes, and horizontal machines Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs to improve efficiency and accuracy Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications Perform full setups, select tooling, and establish offsets Verify part quality using precision measuring instruments Machine a variety of materials including aluminum, brass, copper, and plastics Troubleshoot programming, setup, and machining issues independently Lead the machine shop team and oversee day-to-day operations Ensure safety, quality, and production standards are consistently met This role requires someone who can lead from the front, solve problems quickly, and keep production moving in a fast-paced environment.
