Job Description
Join our dynamic receiving department where you will operate cherry pickers and utilize RF scanners to efficiently put away and pull products for shipping. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution center, where scientific equipment is prepared for delivery to schools, hospitals, and medical labs.
Responsibilities

• Operate cherry pickers and forklifts to accurately put away and pull products.
• Use RF scanners to track inventory and manage shipments.
• Ensure all products are handled with care, maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, pulling, and pushing up to 70 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
• Engage in frequent walking, standing, stooping, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
• Work independently while solving problems and maintaining productivity.
• Participate in on-the-job training to enhance skills and operational knowledge.

Essential Skills

• Experience with forklifts, cherry pickers, and order pickers.
• Proficiency in using RF scanners and computer systems.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Must be forklift certified or willing to obtain certification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• General warehouse experience, preferably in the picking department.
• Experience with inventory management and electric pallet jacks.
• Willingness to work weekday and weekend overtime as required.

Work Environment
You will be working in a distribution center dedicated to scientific equipment, serving educational institutions and healthcare facilities. Our facility comprises a team of 100-120 employees, divided into receiving, picking, and shipping departments. The work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm, with an average of 45 hours per week. Employees should be comfortable with heights as racking can reach 15-20 feet. Forklift recertification is provided.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nazareth, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
