What You'll Do You’ll be the go-to technical force driving continuous improvement across safety, quality, and delivery:

• Optimize & Improve: Lead Lean initiatives, eliminate bottlenecks, conduct time studies, and cut out waste.

• Design & Build: Use CAD to design custom tooling, fixtures, and jigs that make production safer and more efficient.

• Own Capital Projects: Take the reins on capital equipment—from initial project scoping and vendor selection to installation and final commissioning.

• Collaborate Hands-On: Partner closely with maintenance, quality, and production teams to tackle real-time troubleshooting and equipment reliability.

What You Bring

• The Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (or related discipline).

• The Expertise: 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience inside a fast-moving production environment.

• The Toolkit: Proficiency with CAD (SolidWorks/AutoCAD), a strong grasp of Lean Manufacturing principles, and rock-solid mechanical aptitude.

• The Drive: Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.

Responsibilities

Manufacturing Process Improvement
 Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase productivity, reduce waste, and
improve product quality.
 Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues.
 Develop and maintain process documentation including process flows, work instructions, and
standard operating procedures.
Tooling, Fixtures, and Equipment
 Design and implement tooling, fixtures, jigs, and other manufacturing aids to improve safety,
efficiency, and repeatability.
 Identify opportunities for automation and equipment improvements.
 Support equipment troubleshooting and reliability improvements in partnership with maintenance
and production teams.
Plant Layout and Manufacturing Flow
 Develop plant layouts and manufacturing cell designs to optimize workflow, ergonomics, and
material movement.
 Support facility improvements, line balancing, and production capacity improvements.
 Conduct time studies and workflow analysis to identify bottlenecks and improvement
opportunities.
