We have an exciting opportunity at our Carrolton, TX facility for a Warehouse Technician.Our Warehouse Technicians are responsible for loading and unloading trucks, receiving freight using SAP warehouse management system, preparing outbound paperwork, operating a forklift, staging freight efficiently, and handling hazardous materials (HAZMAT) safely and in compliance with company and regulatory standards.Key responsibilities for this role include:Prepares daily outgoing customer orders, ensuring accuracy, proper documentation, and labeling. Ensures paperwork and packaging meets D.O.T Requirements.Processes requests and supply orders; pulling, packing, and staging materials and sales orders in appropriate area and ready for transportInspects Freight Bills and Bills of Lading and placement of received materials in their proper storage locationsMaintains safe and clean work environment, maintaining 5S standards by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Loading and unloading trailers, either individually or with assistance, with or without mechanical freight-handling equipment.Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in a safe manner to move inventory and stage freight as required.Support and participate in Environmental, Safety and Health and quality department programs and requirements.Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation as needed.Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals.Requirements:High School graduate or GED requiredOne to five years of prior warehouse operations/dock operations experience required.Must have a valid state drivers' license and clean driving recordGood communication, teamwork, organization and planning skillsMust be able to lift up to 75 lbs., carry up to 50 lbs. and Push/Pull up to 100 lbs.Reliable and detail-orientedBasic math skillsExperience operating forklifts safely.Knowledge and experience handling hazardous materials (HAZMAT) with proper safety practices preferred.Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical tasks required for warehouse operations.This is a safety-sensitive position that requires candidates to successfully pass a post-offer drug screening and is subject to random testing per company policy.
