CCB Risk - Card Portfolio Management - Executive Director

Executive Director, Authorization Risk ManagementThe Executive Director will be responsible for developing and optimizing Authorization Risk Management strategies, policies, practices and controls for Chase Business Cards. The Director will ensure that these strategies drive strong financial performance, achieve loss mitigation objectives, and enable strong risk controls. The Director will meet regularly with leadership of Risk Management, Finance, Lending, and the Card Business Units. In addition, they will interact regularly with internal constituents and external regulators to review Risk Management practices.Specifically, the Risk Director will:Drive risk strategy and innovation working with cross functional teams and partnersDevelop and implement decision rules for overlimit and delinquent authorizations, including cash line thresholdsDevelop and manage business exposure strategies, including waterfall revenue across all portfolio treatmentCollaborate with senior leaders to drive strategic initiatives and influence key decisionsLead inclusively, with purpose and integrity, and strong focus on continuous professional development and talent managementSit at the Portfolio Management Risk leadership table for Business CardWork with other areas of Risk, Lending and IT to support the launch of risk strategies and capabilities with an emphasis on strong testing and controls, while keeping customer experience at top of mindManage risk strategies to drive financial performance and risk mitigation improvements while innovating to ensure optimal strategy performanceWork closely with Risk Governance, Legal and Compliance to ensure policies are in compliance with laws and regulationsQualifications:The role requires a deep understanding of the card business. Specific qualifications include:Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline from an accredited college/university required; Master's degree preferred5+ years of experience leading a proficient analytic organization10+ years of experience in the consumer/business lending industryStrong knowledge and understanding of Consumer and Business Credit laws and regulationsProven ability to develop effective controls and manage riskExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDisplay expertise in exposure management and risk mitigation strategiesProven ability to evaluate the business climate, anticipate change and develop compensating strategiesAbility to efficiently manage concurrent assignments and quickly react to changing or competing prioritiesDemonstrated leadership in solving business problems through structured analyticsStrong project management skills and attention to detail to deliver new strategies in a complex decision technology environment
