Recruiter

We are looking for a Recruiter to support hiring efforts for a Contract position within a higher education environment in New York, New York. This role will manage the recruitment lifecycle from talent identification through offer coordination, helping hiring teams attract experienced talent in a competitive market. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in corporate recruiting, effective interview management, and the ability to maintain organized candidate pipelines through an applicant tracking system.Responsibilities:• Lead end-to-end recruitment activities, from intake discussions and sourcing strategy through candidate selection and offer support.• Build and maintain talent pipelines by proactively identifying candidates with relevant experience through direct outreach, networking, and other sourcing methods.• Partner with hiring managers to clarify role expectations, align on candidate profiles, and move searches forward efficiently.• Conduct candidate screenings and interviews to evaluate experience, capabilities, and overall fit for open positions.• Manage job postings, application workflows, and candidate records within the applicant tracking system to ensure accuracy and timely updates.• Coordinate interview scheduling and facilitate communication between candidates and internal stakeholders throughout the hiring process.• Recommend recruiting approaches that improve candidate quality, time-to-fill, and overall hiring effectiveness.• Provide a thoughtful and responsive candidate experience while maintaining consistent follow-up and clear communication.
