Registered Nurse – PCU

Schedule: 36 hours per week, Night shift (3x12-Hour from 19:00 - 07:30), Every other weekend required (Friday & Saturday nights).

Assignment Details: Float required within the unit.

Requirements:

• Valid nursing license.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience; profiles of candidates with only 1 year of experience will need to be reviewed.
• Telemetry experience.
• Experience with IV insulin protocols and insulin drips.
• Strong cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care for individuals with active oncology diagnoses and other medical conditions.
• Monitor and manage vital signs and lab results.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and proper care.
• Document patient outcomes and maintain accurate medical records.
