With a weekly commitment of 40 hours, you’ll serve as a vital resource for both students and teams, working collaboratively to enhance student outcomes from August 2026 through June 2027.

Key Qualifications:

• Active SLP license in Texas (CCC required)
• Demonstrated experience working in school settings
• Previous supervision of Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) preferred
• Strong understanding of school-based evaluation and ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) processes
• Exceptional organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and staff

Responsibilities:

• Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
• Complete comprehensive speech-language evaluations for students
• Facilitate and participate in ARD meetings, providing expert input and recommendations
• Serve as a resource for staff on best practices in communication support
• Engage in collaborative planning with educators and service providers
• Maintain accurate and thorough records in compliance with school and state requirements
• Provide professional guidance, but note that direct therapy is not required for this assignment
