Part-Time Maintenance Technician

Volker Legacy Holdings is seeking a reliable and skilled Part-Time Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of our residential properties. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in general maintenance, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and appliances
• Conduct regular property inspections and identify needed repairs
• Maintain landscaping, curb appeal, and assist with snow removal
• Complete unit turns efficiently under the direction of the Property Manager
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and after-hours emergencies (on-call rotation)
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed
• Adhere to all Fair Housing laws and company policies
• Provide friendly, professional customer service to residents and team members

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance or general repair experience required
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs
