About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified IMC RN in Evansville, Indiana, 47701!

• Provide direct patient care on a dedicated 30-bed Stroke Unit within an IMC/PCU/Stepdown setting
• Manage a diverse patient population including medical, cardiac, GI, renal, DKA, sepsis, trauma, and post-surgical cases
• Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level care with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition, escalating care as appropriate

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or compact license eligibility
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience in IMC, PCU, Stepdown, or similar intermediate care environment
• Ability to work night shift

• Prior experience in stroke, cardiac, or neurological nursing care
• Familiarity with DKA, sepsis, and trauma patient management
• Experience working in a high-acuity stepdown or telemetry unit
