If you're passionate about innovating through AI, ML, and big data to support national security and thrive in a collaborative, Agile, and mission-driven role-this opportunity is for you.RESPONSIBILITIESDesign, develop, test, and implement secure, distributed microservices using object-oriented programming languagesCollaborate within Agile teams to build scalable, user-centered modules for the MARS program (OB, IMD, S/CS modules)Develop RESTful web services and support implementation/hosting using instancing and throttling modelsEnhance user interfaces using JavaScript, jQuery, Angular 4, Ajax, and HTML5/XMLWrite and optimize SQL queries, T-SQL stored procedures, views, and SSIS packagesCreate technical diagrams, high-quality code, and automated test scripts to support development and integrationPartner with product owners and stakeholders to ensure alignment with mission and technical objectivesParticipate in planning, design, and development discussions to drive continuous improvementEnsure system reliability, uptime, and maintainability through operational excellenceREQUIREMENTSMinimum 5 years of software development experience for consideration at the Journeyman levelMinimum 9 years of software development experience for consideration at the Senior levelBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related disciplineProficiency in object-oriented design, algorithms, and data structuresExperience with:REST-style Web API platformsClient-side development experience using Vue.js, JavaScript, Angular 4, Ajax, jQuery, and HTML5/XMLSQL/T-SQL, stored procedures, and data integration via SSISAsynchronous programming, parallel processing, concurrency, and securitySoftware engineering lifecycle best practicesStrong collaboration and communication skillsAbility to work independently and in Agile environmentsTS/SCI clearance with a PolygraphPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience supporting DoD or DIA missionsFamiliarity with the MARS, MIDB, or OB intelligence domainsAdditional training or certifications in cybersecurity, cloud platforms, or advanced analyticsExperience developing solutions for Space/Counterspace or Intelligence Mission Data (IMD) systemsJoin a mission-driven team advancing defense intelligence capabilities through scalable data platforms and advanced analytics.
