General Production Worker Position Summary

• Manufacture ceramic materials used in cell phones and other electronic products.
• Measure, mix, and process ceramic powders and water according to production specifications.
• Ensure accuracy in material handling, batch preparation, and production documentation.
• Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to dust and wet processing conditions.
• Training will be provided on the first shift for approximately 2-3 months.

• Produce custom ceramic powders through various powder processing operations.
• Measure, weigh, and load raw materials into mixers, blending tanks, and milling vessels.
• Maintain accurate electronic and handwritten batch records.
• Conduct in-process quality checks and testing.
• Follow written work instructions, production procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Prepare homogeneous ceramic mixtures through blending and milling processes.
• Operate drying ovens and thermal processing equipment.
• Load and unload ceramic materials into saggers and processing vessels.
• Perform spray drying of ceramic slurry mixtures.
• Clean and sanitize processing equipment and work areas.
• Support adherence to quality, environmental, and safety standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and move 50-60 lbs regularly throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in dusty, wet, and industrial manufacturing environments.
• Ability to maintain accurate production and inventory records.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures.

• Basic math and computer proficiency.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to interpret and follow detailed process instructions.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.

• ISO-certified manufacturing facility with a fast-paced production setting.
• Exposure to ceramic powders, dust, moisture, and industrial equipment.
• Strong focus on quality, continuous improvement, and safety compliance.
• Casual dress code with required personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Adamstown, MD.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Adamstown,MD.
