Software Dev Engineer II, AWS Container Registry

Amazon Elastic Container Registry (Amazon ECR) is looking for a Software Development Engineer II (SDE) to help build and extend our container registry. ECR is at the heart of most containerized applications and workflows that run on AWS, so it has to be fast, scalable, and secure. As more companies switch to containers to improve their speed of delivery, they look to ECR for easy-to-use tools, and we continue to grow the ecosystem of SDLC tools and security features that our customers use on a daily basis. In addition, we are working on exciting technical problems such as how to dramatically reduce the time it takes to launch a container within AWS.If you are someone who is passionate about building high quality services, delighting developers, and have a passion for customers and developer relations, this job is for you. You will be joining a team with the charter to make containers the new compute primitives and the first choice when architecting modern applications. We don’t like getting paged in the middle of the night or on the weekend, so we work to ensure that our systems are fault tolerant. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
