Business Analyst

Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid/Local candidates required for periodic office visits) Schedule: Full-Time / Standard Business Hours Position Type: 8 month Contract Role Overview We are seeking a highly analytical and action-oriented Revenue Growth Management (RGM) Business Analyst to support the profitability strategies for our Food Service On-Premise (FSOP) channel. In this role, you will focus on practical, hands-on data analysis, gathering internal metrics, maintaining master data, evaluating forecasts, and delivering actionable pricing and profitability recommendations to our sales and performance teams. Key Responsibilities Support the development of FSOP pricing guidelines to help sales teams execute profitability strategies effectively. Partner cross-functionally with sales and commercial leadership to develop plans that drive profitable growth. Hands-On Data Mining & Reporting Mine internal databases to identify revenue opportunities, mitigate plan gaps, and provide timely business solutions. Conduct forward-looking forecast evaluations, performance gap analysis, and ad-hoc reporting as needed. Proactively analyze system data and report usage to recommend continuous improvements. Data Management & Systems Support Maintain accurate master data mapping across systems and resolve data anomalies from start to finish. Assist in validating requirements for new automated reporting systems and ensure alignment across data sources. Candidate Requirements Required Qualifications Location: Must be local to the Dallas, TX area. Practical Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of practical, hands-on experience in business analytics, system data mining, deep-dive data analysis, and project management (prioritizing applied business analytics over purely theoretical data science). Excel Expertise: Advanced Excel mastery (complex formulas, data manipulation, modeling, and structured reporting). Technical & Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze large, complex datasets for patterns, inconsistencies, and trends. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present data-driven insights to business stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field preferred. Industry Experience: Prior experience in Foodservice, On-Premise sales, CPG, Beverage, or Retail RGM environments. #J-18808-Ljbffr
