This is what it takes to work for us (equipment operator requirements & job duties):Operate forklifts, trucks, and other material-handling equipment to support warehousing, receiving, and distribution activitiesLoad, unload, transport, and stage materials safely and efficiently within warehouse or production areasSupport general material handling tasks across receiving, storage, and shipping functionsInspect, operate, and perform basic maintenance checks on equipment to ensure safe and proper functionalityFollow all safety procedures, operational guidelines, and company compliance standards during equipment useRead and interpret work instructions, labels, blueprints, and production or shipping documentation as neededEnsure accuracy in handling raw materials, finished goods, and inventory movement to support quality control standardsAssist in maintaining organized, efficient warehouse operations and workflowIdentify and report equipment issues, material discrepancies, or safety concerns to supervisorsApply attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills in daily operations and team coordinationSupport production and distribution efficiency by following established processes for material flow and handlingMaintain required certifications or obtain necessary licenses, including forklift and/or commercial driving credentials if applicablePrior experience in warehousing, manufacturing, or transportation equipment operation is preferred but not requiredHigh school diploma or GED preferredWhy this job?
