Supervising Pharmacist/Pharmacy Manager

OnPoint Pharmacy is a delivery-first independent pharmacy group on Long Island and in the NYC metro area, with a specialty focus in ophthalmology and primary care. We are reshaping community pharmacy by combining modern healthcare with personalized service and strong provider relationships. Our mission is to make pharmacists a more trusted and integral part of a patient's healthcare experience.

We are hiring a Supervising Pharmacist to run our Smithtown location. This is a lead role with real autonomy. You run the pharmacy, the team, and the prescriber relationships.

What you'll do

Serve as Supervising Pharmacist: licensure, compliance, controlled substance recordkeeping, inspection readiness
Run daily operations and dispensing accuracy
Hire, train, and manage the technician team
Build relationships with local prescribers and specialty practices
Grow the patient base through outreach, reactivation, and manufacturer programs
Own the location's numbers and work directly with ownership on performance
Who You Are
You give straight answers. Prescribers, patients, and your techs trust you fast.
You own outcomes. When something goes wrong, you fix it before you explain it.
You would rather grow a book of business than protect one. We do not wait for patients to walk in.
You think like an owner, and you may want to run your own pharmacy one day.

What Makes This Role Different

We do not operate like a traditional pharmacy that waits for patients to show up. Nobody walks past us. Every patient we have is one somebody went out and earned, which means part of your week is spent on gaining prescriber offices and on reactivation, not only behind the counter. Pharmacy should be proactive, not reactive.

Requirements:

Active New York pharmacist license in good standing, eligible to be named Supervising Pharmacist
Experience supervising pharmacy technicians
Immunization certified
PioneerRx experience a plus, not required

Compensation details: 65-80 Hourly Wage
