Company: Audubon Animal Medical Center Location: Louisville, KY 40213 Work Setup: On-site Perks: Health, dental, vision insurance, life insurance, 401(k) Compensation: $36,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year Responsibilities: Assist in preparing animals for surgery and monitoring anesthesia Registered/Certified Veterinary Technician qualification preferred but professional experience also accepted Promote preventive care Proficient in Blood draws and IV catheterization Manage critical care inpatients, develop discharge plans with doctor Handle laboratory work, triage, X-Rays, and wellness examinations Perform dental prophylaxis, polishing and dental X-rays Requirements: Client Education Teamwork skills Surgery Assistant knowledge and skills Knowledge of sterile protocol Desire to provide clients a very good experience when they bring their pets in Vaccine and preventative care knowledge Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: At Audubon Animal Medical Center, we are committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment where each team member is esteemed and honored.
