Key Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Ohio (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience working with school-aged children or within educational settings is highly valued

• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting student mobility, accessibility, and participation in school activities
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, students, and families
• Familiarity with IEP processes and federal/state education guidelines considered a plus

Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ functional abilities to support participation in academic settings
• Develop and deliver tailored physical therapy interventions based on student needs and IEP goals
• Maintain thorough documentation of therapy services, progress updates, and assessment data
• Partner with interdisciplinary teams to integrate therapy recommendations and adaptive strategies
• Consult with educators and families to promote student independence and success in school
• Contribute to the planning and review of students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Participate in team meetings as needed and offer professional insights to enhance student services
