The Client Care Surveyor plays a critical role in ensuring that all Oregonians have access to safe, high quality health care. This position supports the licensing and Medicare/Medicaid certification of designated health care providers through monitoring, inspections, consultations, investigations, and collaborative partnerships with the provider community and state and federal agencies. What We Are Looking For Minimum Qualifications These qualifications must be reflected in your application for consideration. Three years of experience in areas related to nursing, social work, developmental disabilities, dietetics/nutrition, or sanitation; AND one of the following: a Bachelor's degree in a health or human services field; or a license as a Registered Nurse. This recruitment is for one, full-time, permanent, SEIU represented, Patient Safety & Client Care Surveyor (Client Care Surveyor) position based in Portland, Oregon. Employment is contingent upon a criminal records check that meets OHA criteria at the time of hire and throughout employment. The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying range. If the successful candidate qualifies for PERS, the salary range will increase by 6.95%. For more information, see the Classification and Compensation page.
