We are looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to support a client team in Saint Peters, Missouri. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who can manage recurring payroll cycles with precision, investigate inconsistencies, and keep payroll operations running smoothly in an onsite environment. The role offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to contribute to a dependable, well-organized payroll process.

Responsibilities:
• Manage weekly payroll for a large hourly workforce and handle semi-monthly payroll for salaried staff, ensuring each cycle is completed accurately and on schedule.
• Examine timesheets, payroll registers, and supporting reports to identify irregularities, missing details, or calculation issues before final processing.
• Research payroll-related questions and resolve discrepancies promptly to maintain accurate employee pay records.
• Use Excel-based tracking and reporting tools to organize payroll information, review data trends, and support audit-ready documentation.
• Partner with supervisors and administrative personnel to confirm time entry accuracy and clarify exceptions that could affect payroll results.
• Meet established payroll submission deadlines consistently to support timely employee compensation.
• Maintain complete and accurate payroll files while helping uphold a reliable day-to-day payroll function.• At least 2 years of hands-on experience processing payroll.
• Associate degree or higher is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to produce accurate payroll results.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work within existing spreadsheets and trackers.
• Experience with full-cycle payroll for employee populations ranging from 101 to 500 workers is valuable.
• Familiarity with multi-state payroll processing is preferred.
• Exposure to UKG Pro or UKG Ready is helpful, though not required.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.
