Position Overview

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN), or other licensed medical professional. The CNA provides individualized patient care activities and non-professional services necessary to support the comfort, safety, and well-being of patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding.
• Monitor and report patient conditions, behaviors, and concerns to licensed nursing staff.
• Support patient mobility, positioning, and transfers while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment.
• Assist with obtaining and documenting vital signs as directed.
• Provide compassionate care while preserving patient dignity and confidentiality.
• Collaborate effectively with nurses and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

Minimum Requirements

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in accordance with state and client requirements.
• One year of nursing assistant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and clerical functions.
• Current CPR certification, if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray, if required.
• Current health certificate, per contract or state regulations.
• Ability to comply with all applicable professional standards of practice.
• Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Orientation & Training

This facility provides a comprehensive onboarding experience designed to set you up for success:

• Two orientation sessions held monthly.
• Approximately two weeks of initial training through the facility's training department.
• Up to six weeks of total orientation support.
