Communications Intern - Fall 2026

Communications Intern Support program and advancement staff across the Africa and Europe region, assisting with project management tasks, writing, copy‑editing, and graphic design for regional communications initiatives. Responsibilities Manage scheduling and follow‑up for the regional community of practice. Support regional speaker trainings. Administer intranet site management and development. Improve internal communication processes. Execute ad‑hoc creative assignments such as writing, copy‑editing, and graphic design. Participate in departmental and general IJM administrative support. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree must be in progress (minimum two years of undergraduate study required). Experience in project management or process implementation. Experience with intranet site management. Graphic design skills are a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Mature orthodox Christian faith; humility and resilience, pursuit of excellence, cultural awareness, strong service ethic, innovative problem solving, trust‑building, courage, tenacity, and professionalism. Compensation Interns receive a monthly stipend to help defray expenses related to the internship program. The stipend is not an hourly wage.
