Occupational Health Physician

Endeavor Health is recruiting for a full-time occupational health physician. Exciting opportunity to join the occupational health team in our Naperville market at Edward Hospital. Key Responsibilities: Clinical Care: Treat work-related injuries and illnesses and manage workers' compensation cases. Evaluations: Perform pre-placement, return-to-work, DOT, and fitness-for-duty exams. Position Highlights: Position: EHMG Board Certified Occupational Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Urgent care Location: 120 Spalding Drive, Naperville, IL; may travel to other locations in the market. The pay rate offered is determined within the pay range and is dependent on a variety of factors, including but not limited to FTE, prior experience, certifications, degrees, subspecialties, projected volumes, and quality performance measures. Qualifications: Minimum Education Level Graduate of an accredited and recognized medical school required. Minimum Licensure Requirements Eligible for medical licensing in the State of Illinois. Minimum Certification Requirements Board certification/Board eligible in area of expertise. DOT Certified MRO Certification is a plus BLS Minimum Work Experience Experience in immediate care, urgent care, ER, or occupational health required What you will do: Provides medical patient care by interviewing, examining and treating clinical patients in order to meet their medical needs Educates patients on wellness, prevention and early detection by providing materials and resources for the patients and families Shares health care duties of patients with other physicians to ensure the availability of a physician at all times.
