MS/Tele RN - Nights

This is a 10-week contract position.

3x12 Hour Night Shift (7:30 PM - 8:00 AM); every other weekend required, holidays as scheduled.

We are seeking a skilled MS/Tele RN to join our team for the night shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general surgery and orthopedic care. This position requires effective communication and teamwork to provide quality care to our adult and geriatric populations.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage patients receiving telemetry and general medical-surgical care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform and assist with various surgical procedures related to orthopedic and general surgeries.
• Provide pre and post-operative care, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and health management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required; previous charge experience is preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of Maryland or Compact License.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS; CPI preferred.
• Must demonstrate strong clinical skills, especially in telemetry and orthopedic procedures.
• Experience with Epic charting is preferred.
