This position gathers information needed by payors for contract submission, credentialing, maintenance, and contract changes. The credentialing analyst tracks all contract expirations for follow-up with payor for renewal of agreement. This position maintains credentialing spreadsheets, distributes information appropriately, and works with state Medicaid enrollment and maintenance.Location:6688 N. Central Expwy Dallas, TX 75206 Tuesday and Wednesday in office, other days hybridQualificationsEducation and Experience (ESSENTIAL):Must have a bachelor degree in health care, or related field.Must have demonstrated intermediate skills in Microsoft office, especially word, excel, and powerpoint.Education and Experience (DESIRED):Demonstrated equivalent work experience in the health care field may be considered in lieu of a degree. Work experience may include in a provider office, managed care organization, or other health care field.Previous credentialing or medical billing experience preferred.Qualifications:Must be task and deadline-driven with excellent time management skills. Must be detail oriented and organized. Must be able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing. Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must possess a high standard of professional ethics.Must be able to strategically and effectively prioritize assignments and problem-solve in a high volume, interactive environment while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.
