Job Description As a Security Officer Mobile Access Control Driver in Normal, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Security Officer at an automotive location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, monitor assigned areas, control access, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon09:30 PM - 06:00 AMTue09:30 PM - 06:00 AMWed09:30 PM - 06:00 AMThur09:30 PM - 06:00 AMSun09:30 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of automotive manufacturing, warehouse, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity. Monitor access points, visitor activity, and vehicle traffic in accordance with site policies; verify credentials and direct individuals to appropriate locations. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures. Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
