You may review, modify, or update your information by visiting and logging into the careers section of the system.Job Description:At Regions, the Financial Manager works within the Finance organization and provides accounting and financial strategic support to business unit leaders.Primary ResponsibilitiesPerforms financial analysis and reporting including guidance in areas of forecasting, budgeting, reporting as well as month end closePlans, organizes, and directs the efficient and accurate production of reporting packages as well as support for external filingsEnsures the governance activities of the group are followed such as policies and procedures and financial statement control proceduresServes as point of contact for day-to-day activities with either risk, internal audit, external auditors, regulators, or other stakeholdersMaintains knowledge of accounting and/or regulatory changes on a wide variety of topics as well as other current events that impact the bankIdentifies and implements opportunities for the use of new systems and processesOwns relationships with vendorsOversees the efficient operation and cost-effectiveness of operating systems and programsMay lead a small team in the day-to-day activities of the groupThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay. This position is incentive eligible.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a directly related fieldSix (6) years of finance experience as well as experience managing groups or functionsPreferencesMaster of Business Administration (MBA)Certified Public Accountant (CPA) as applicable to the group’s responsibilitiesSkills and CompetenciesAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and AccessAttention to detail and robust documentation skillsExcellent communication skills, including presentation of financial analysis and/or results to stakeholdersProject management aptitudeStrong analytical skillsPosition TypeFull timeCompensation DetailsPay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.Job Range Target:Minimum:$112,349.60 USDMedian:$151,950.00 USDIncentive Pay Plans:This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary incentive plan.
