Project Manager – AV Systems Integration Job Description The Opportunity Seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex audio/visual systems integration projects from kickoff through completion. This role will manage scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality, safety, and customer relationships while coordinating internal teams, subcontractors, and clients. Key Responsibilities Lead AV integration projects, including scope, schedules, budgets, procurement, and project communications. Coordinate Sales, Engineering, Programming, Fabrication, Installation, customers, and third-party resources. Manage project risks, issues, change orders, quality, and profitability. Oversee project teams and subcontractors while ensuring safety and compliance on job sites. Coordinate system programming, final checkout, punch lists, training, turnover, and closeout documentation. Maintain strong client relationships and provide consistent project updates to management. Travel to project sites as needed, with flexibility for extended stays when projects require additional support. Qualifications 3+ years of project management and/or team leadership experience; AV, construction, technology, or related industry preferred. Strong knowledge of AV, video, lighting, and low-voltage electrical projects. Experience working on construction sites and with technical, contractual, and construction documents. Understanding of project budgets, margins, revenue, and financial variances. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software. Ability to read AutoCAD and understand system design preferred. Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and leadership skills. High school diploma required; degree in business, construction management, engineering, or AV/technology preferred. PMP and/or AVIXA CTS certification preferred. Must be willing and able to travel 20–30%+, including extended site visits when needed.
